Our approach
ARTES 5.0 encourages the adoption of a human-centric approach, with the aim of facilitating the introduction and use of advanced technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, by SMEs and PSOs, through the offer of dedicated services (the so-called ARTES 5.0 charter of services) and the necessary support for their management and implementation (how-to and where).
Technology for workplace safety
In this context, the ARTES 5.0 charter of services is selectively updated to ensure a coherence with the ongoing evolution of technology and the growing needs of society. Particular attention is paid to the promotion of digital technologies to improve health and safety conditions at work. This activity is developed in close collaboration with INAIL, associated in the project and founding member of two Italian Competence Centers.
The ARTES 5.0 charter of services includes four service-types: provision of test-before-invest opportunities, help digital and green transformation with training and skills development, support to find investments, and facilitating the access to innovation ecosystem and networking possibilities.
Therefore, the service charter will be guided by a four-function approach
Test Before Invest
Test-before-invest services are the core of ARTES 5.0, ranging from the digital assessment carried out with the expertise of industrial DIHs to specialised test and experimentation services provided by the partners competence and excellence centres. The technological foci of ARTES 5.0 are AI and Robotics, but the ARTES 5.0 customers are provided with a wide set of technological platforms in addition to Collaborative robotic platforms, such as Sensor-based intelligent systems, IoT & Smart systems, VR/AR technologies, AI-based analysis and forecasting systems.
Training and Skills Development
Training and skills development services cover both awareness-raising and orientation activities for supporting the digital and green twin transitions and vertical custom training on specific technologies and on organisational and cultural changes accompanying the digital transformation.
Support to Find Investements
Support to find investments services provide advice on financial aspects, business planning, IP and project development for accessing public funding, private financing and capital market. Match-making initiatives are offered to ARTES 5.0 customers for finding investments supporting digital transformation.
Ecosystem & Networking
Innovation ecosystem and networking services are aimed at mapping and managing ecosystems of technology providers and adopters of digital solutions based on AI, Robotics and Industry 4.0 enabling technologies. Innovation ecosystems awareness and networking potential with local, national and EU initiatives are supported by the industrial DIHs and the associations representing manufacturers and artisans.
